Doesn’t matter to whom you pray or how you pray, you deserve to have your own spiritual practice. “Life without God is like a non-sharpened pencil. It has no point.” I have been a minister all my life in one capacity or another; a teacher and a life bringer to many. I have been a spiritual leader for more than 20 years and what I know for sure is through tragedy or death, there are always an outcry and a reaching out for God. I have learned in my own life to admire greatly the atheists because once you understand what they are saying, it is not that they are always against God – they are usually saying they are against the God they were taught to know. Atheists are more often than not very intelligent and successful people looking for a new definition of a God they can experience, rather than a God they felt forced to believe in. I like to say: “Let’s talk about the God you do not believe in.” Often I have discovered we have great ideas in common. We believe in a Creator who thinks enough of us to give us life and if we can embody this great Creator and understand the natural laws of nature, we can live life abundantly.
