In traditional Christianity,atonement is the reconciliation
of sinful men and women to God through the death of
Jesus. In Unity, we do not recognize a need to be reconciled
with God because we are all created in God’s image
and likeness.As human beings we are the microcosm of the
macrocosm, created to express our unique magnificence in
this life.

Pain and suffering comes from the refusal or unwillingness
to express such magnificence, rather than as a result
of sin.
