Modern Day Miracles

We use the phrase “I was scared to death” because we have felt this fear throughout the course of our lives, and we die a little each time this paradox is fed into our psyches. We cannot surrender to goodness, for we are inherently afraid that we will die, and when we deny that we will die, we deny our goodness. We have an inner saboteur to mess things up for us. We name it the “teenage years,” an “immature” person, or “midlife crisis” and make it sound normal, yet the denial of one’s goodness and the ability to do miracles will never be normal.

We are all birthed with the God-ordained intention to make miracles. Just the very fact that we are able to sabotage our lives and drive the consistent good from ourselves shows us that we can do miracles. The very fact that we can mess up our lives time and again is itself a modern-day miracle. Yet imagine using our ability to create miracles of greatness rather than miracles of lack, crisis, and limitation.
