Many of us wear different suits for our birthday. Some wear shyness and do not want to be noticed; some wear the disbelief that another year has passed; some wear denial as they can’t believe they are this age; Some wear those good ole days are gone, why bother?

Today is my official birthday and I am thrilled to be alive at this time and at this age. I use to be shy and somewhat introverted around my birthday yet I started to see that my birth is a gift from God and I am thankful. I use to wear shyness and disbelief and other feelings around my birthday and then I realized what I wrote when I was a little girl during one of the classes at church. Your life is a gift and you should treat it as a gift like a present someone special gave you.

On my birthday, I would like to give a special thanks to all of you who have in some small or significant way played a part in impacting my life. It is an incredible time to be alive as I know deep within my heart that the best is yet to come.

Let the party of life begin as I am open to wear a birthday suit of joy, love and abundance.
