My life was always instructive, though at times painful, I have lived long enough to realize that my family members could never have loved me any more than they loved themselves. Their definition of love was simply not enough to fit in my definition. Because of their lack of love, I had to discover true inner love.

I had to claim the Creator of my existence, who thought enough of me to create me so I may continue to be created. The same Creator is working within you as well to create your own unique story of birth and rebirth. Traditionally, Christians are taught that we must experience salvation to truly live, but the true spiritual teaching is that we must be saved from ourselves to live a full and prosperous life. We must save and retrieve the parts of ourselves that we have allowed to die while we are living.
