A former professional international motivational speaker, this dynamic South Carolina native offers a fresh perspective on New Thought, the spiritual psychology of day to day living and the deeper meaning of joy when being awake to the presence of God.
Is Temple your real name?
Yes, I was named after my grandfather.
You talk a lot in your Sunday messages about finding and honoring our path. What does that mean to you?
Everybody has a path and your path is meant to be realized. The people, the experiences and the opportunities do come along. A lot of people have not developed a trust within themselves. We look to others for their truth instead of finding the truth within ourselves. We keep looking outside of us for answers that live in our very being. This locks many people into a sense of dependency and leads them to rely on others, including teachers, therapists, ministers, gurus, special loves, and parents.
Imagine if everyone woke up in the morning with confidence and acceptance of their own unique self and their unique way of contributing. Living your path comes when you accept who you are and honor your unique self. Nothing could be more satisfying or more real.
We do not find true happiness until we find ourselves.
